Suzuki V-Strom 800RE (2024 onwards)

The Suzuki V-Strom 800RE is a road oriented version of the V-Strom 800. It comes with a new 776cc parallel-twin engine that you can find in other Suzuki models such as the GSX-8S.

The equipment is pretty basic compared to most modern adventure bikes. You will get a TFT dash, rider modes, ABS, and quick-shifter as standard. There are no heated grips or handguards on the 800RE model, which is a slight disappointment.

The off-road oriented V-Strom 800DE comes with more bells and whistles, but a higher price tag.

A2 Licence Compliance

The Suzuki V-Strom 800RE is a 776cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 62 kW (83 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 43.5% to become A2 licence compliant.

You will need a restrictor to ride the Suzuki V-Strom 800RE on an A2 motorbike licence. See the restrictor kits section to check out what restrictors are available for the Suzuki V-Strom 800RE.
