Indian FTR1200 Rally (2020 onwards)

The Indian FTR1200 Rally is a scrambler variant of the regular FTR1200 model, which is a more road-oriented motorcycle. The Rally model comes with the same flat-tracker aesthetics, but you will get a pair of spoked wheels, dual-sport tires, and a small windshield. It is more suitable for off-road riding, but not on the same level as most true dual-sport/adventure bikes.

Due to its unusual wheel size and very high power output, the Indian FTR1200 Rally is not an ideal motorcycle for beginner riders. It is however available as an A2 bike with its A2 restricted version.

Please note that the below specifications are for the regular non-A2 compliant Indian FTR1200 Rally model, rather than the 35kW / 70kW A2-compliant one.

A2 Licence Compliance

The Indian FTR1200 Rally is a 1203cc A2-friendly bike. It has a power output of 90 kW (120 bhp), which exceeds the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. The bike has to be restricted by at least 61.1% to become A2 licence compliant.

You will need a restrictor to ride the Indian FTR1200 Rally on an A2 motorbike licence. See the restrictor kits section to check out what restrictors are available for the Indian FTR1200 Rally.
