The 2013 CB500X was already a fantastic motorcycle and there was no need to improve it, but Honda somehow managed to do it and the new model is even better.

The 2019 Honda CB500X is a lightweight and compact adventure bike that was designed specifically for new riders. It is great for both long-distance touring and urban commuting, but you will be able to do some short off-road trips as well.

It comes with the same parallel-twin engine that you can find in other models from the CB500 series such as the CB500F. It might not the most powerful 500cc engine out there, but there is still plenty of horsepower for most situations. The engine is responsive at all revs and there are no vibrations coming out of it, which makes the riding experience super-smooth and comfortable.

In terms of equipment, the 2019 CB500X is a pretty basic bike. It is equipped with a simple LCD dash, which you can use to display all the important info such as gear position and fuel consumption. Other than that, there is an upgraded Showa suspension and new Africa Twin-style wheels. Unfortunately, the suspension is a little too soft, so it is not advisable to carry a passenger on this bike.

The Honda CB500X is a 471cc A2-friendly adventure bike. It has a power output of 35 kW (47 bhp), which is within the 35 kW (47 bhp) limit needed for an A2 licence. No restriction is required, as the bike is fully A2 licence compliant.
